About the Role
MG3 Energy is seeking a highly organized and self-directed Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of energy infrastructure projects—including distributed generation, resiliency-as-a-service, and strategic consulting. The PM will serve as the primary interface between clients, vendors, utilities, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
Requirements
Oversee all phases of project development and delivery, from site due diligence to commissioning.
Manage schedules, budgets, and milestones across multiple energy projects.
Coordinate with gas and electric utilities, local AHJs, and permitting bodies.
Develop and maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and internal dashboards.
Support client communication and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with technical and business leads on procurement, contracting, and interconnection.
Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience in energy, utilities, construction, or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of distributed energy resources (DER), CHP, solar, and/or battery projects.
Familiar with permitting, utility coordination, and contractor oversight.
PMP or similar certification preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar PM tools.
Experience with low and medium voltage systems required; high voltage and substation familiarity preferred.
